- Women's Circle Meet & GreetEvent Description:Have you ever wished you could have more women-centered community in your life? With others who are also interested in self-development, acknowledging & uplifting others, & cultivating unconditional love for one another? Read on to understand what our circle is about & if this event might be something for you.Full details at www.awildfamily.comI, Amanda Jo Boener, formed this circle over 6 years ago and have been holding space for dozens of women who have joined, from many different walks of life(ages 20-78!), every New Moon since. The diversity of women, stories shared, tears shed, belly laughs felt in unison, & sighs of contentment heard in these circles have shaped & enriched my life immensely, while teaching me so much about true compassion & a quiet confidence along the way. I have also helped inspire & teach some to create their own circles elsewhere, which brings me so much joy to have a part in seeing the practice spread! While not all circles are ran the same way, just the simple act of getting women together to share, set intentions, & reflect together can be so healing-when healthy boundaries are set! After years of holding the circle & teaching mindfulness along the way, the core of this circle has always remained the same, but how to best hold that space has been really honed in.For the last year or so we have been a closed circle, with only the four of us and several other dear friends joining. I, the primary space holder who answered all the inquiries & any outreach online that happened over the many years while we had an open circle, have been offline for this time, taking a break from all that comes with the online world. It has been a time of great growth in our circle, to really hone in our rhythm, practice, & deepen within ourselves. With me leaving the area soon & after reflecting on what the others want the future of the circle to look like, we have decided-with much excitement-to open the circle back up to the public. I am really looking forward to welcoming in new women who would like to join us in the practice of loving through listening & supporting one another’s personal growth and I know the other women also share my excitement in learning from you & growing alongside you. If you think you might be interested, please see our family’s website at www.awildfamily.com under the Women’s Circle tab to get a really in depth look at what to expect. I have put a lot of effort into creating this description, so that the intention & expectations of the circle are clear & we would all love for you to read this first and then come meet us in person. For this meet-and-greet, we’ll gather around the fire here at Luna Hill Farm, I’ll have some snacks to share, & we’ll just chat & get to know one another for a bit, also answering any questions you have about us & how the circle works. (If you are interested in joining, try your darnedest to make this date work:) because joining alongside other newbies at the same time will help us get everyone started together.) Then, about an hour or so after we meet, we will start our Circle & you newcomers will have the option to stay and join us, or head back home if you should choose not to. We figured starting with a less formal, open conversation/hang-out time around the fire would give those of you who are interested a chance a chance to show up with a little less pressure to jump right in to the circle. We can’t wait to meet you!Reach out to me via FB messenger(it’s great to add me as a friend first, so I make sure to see your message:) or text/call me at my cell:574-341-0229Yours Truly, AJ
