The best time to begin a new practice is on a Thursday, because the energy of the planet Jupiter has a greater positive influence on us on a Thursday than on other days. If Thursday falls on the full moon the effect is even stronger. Tantrics call this siddha yoga times; when the astrological junctures are accompanied by forces conducive to success.
Place of practice also plays an important role in the success of any endeavor. The more spiritually charged the place, the better it is. We will be holding sacred space for you to unwind, to come home to yourself, and begin renewed.
Piscean, Laika Earthkeeper has put together a sadhana (daily practice) to beat depression, kill anxiety, and lower stress levels. You will be taught a breathing technique and each attendee will be given the written sadhana to start incorporating into your daily life!
During the ceremony, you will be guided to relax using gentle asana, breathwork, and sound. Laika will share with you what is happening in our cosmos. A burning ceremony to release the old and invocation to set forth the new into motion. This will be a magical time, as this is the SECOND Full Moon in August!
