Become a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance through our comprehensive and supportive training program. Deepen your yoga journey and, if you so desire, prepare to teach! Through this program, you will learn how to teach fun, safe, inspirational, and accessible yoga classes that will leave an enduring positive impact on your students. You’ll embark on a transformative personal journey, deepening your own practice. Led by Ra Vincent E-RYT500 and Kim Sellers E-RYT500, we will be joined by a community of diverse teachers including Courtney Canfield, Jason Kniola, Clare Maness, Jeff Nixa, Karen Sommers and Kimmi Troy.

What You’ll Learn:
Asana, techniques for teaching including daily practice
• Alignment
• Sequencing
• Adjustments
Hatha-based program with a focus on safe alignment
Principles for teaching a class:
• Assessing needs of the population and individuals
• Effective cueing and finding your unique voice
• Modifications and variations
In-depth structural anatomy and physiology
Subtle anatomy: chakras, koshas, prana, nadis
Eight limbs of yoga including pranayama and meditation
History, culture, and classical philosophy of yoga
Professional aspects of yoga: legal, ethical, marketing
